360° support for trade fairs, annual general meetings, & studio broadcasts

AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG is one of the major players in the European agricultural sector. For years, POOLgroup has assisted the brand and its associated companies including AGRAVIS Technik, Menke Agrar, and Hamburger Leistungsfutter to produce various event formats – from leading trade fairs to international presentations and even a virtual AGM.

Challenge

The remit was to create a visible presence in a highly competitive environment across multiple brands.

At AGRITECHNICA 2023, a trade fair attracting over 470,000 visitors and centered on the theme of ‘Green Productivity’, both AGRAVIS Technik and Menke Agrar planned to exhibit with their own individual stands. Both brands had to be clearly differentiated but still be recognizable as part of the AGRAVIS universe by means of their architecture, communication and technical staging.

Further trade fair participation followed, including an AGRAVIS stand in Austria, and the Hamburger Leistungsfutter stand at EuroTier. And parallel to this, the virtual AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG Annual General Meeting in August 2020 posed a legally sensitive challenge. Thanks to the ongoing pandemic, the event could not have an in-person audience but instead needed to be streamed with complete technical stability and strict adherence to corporate identity standards.

Delivery & services

POOLgroup was responsible for the complete 360° implementation of the AGRAVIS Technik, Menke Agrar, and Hamburger Leistungsfutter stands – from the initial designs to the final build.

The POOLcrew developed and delivered

  • technical planning for audio, lighting, rigging, media technology and IT,
  • set and trade fair build including architecture and stand construction,
  • event and stand designs with initial sketches and detailed concepts,
  • content creation and content management for presentations and media displays,
  • as well as event management, logistics, and location / destination management.

A particular aspect: AGRAVIS Technik and Menke Agrar shared common backstage facilities with a kitchen area and storage. This led to reduced costs, unified processes, and a significant increase in the efficiency of trade fair operations.

Virtual AGM – AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG

AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG’s Annual General Meeting was conducted as a virtual event in one of POOLgroup’s studios in Emsdetten. Working closely with terres’agentur GmbH, the AGRAVIS Group agency, POOLgroup was responsible for spatial and technical planning as well as overall delivery.

This involved

  • precisely arranged stage design with synchronized displays,
  • subtle, CI-compliant lighting design,
  • and powerful IT and streaming infrastructure,
    which guaranteed stable, live coverage of the virtual AGM.

Thanks to POOLgroup’s studios, AGRAVIS has access to a future‑ready platform to stage additional digital or hybrid event formats, ranging from virtual dialogs to streaming content for internal and external audiences.

Experience & result

AGRAVIS, AGRAVIS Technik, Menke Agrar, and Hamburger Leistungsfutter stood out at the trade fairs as a strong, clearly defined brands: architecturally coherent, executed with technical precision, and designed for interaction – featuring open stands, clear visitor guidance, and high‑impact media displays.

The virtual AGM showed how a legally sensitive, physical event can be quickly transferred to a professional online setting – without compromising on image quality, overall clarity, or brand identity.
