EMAS certified since 2015.
POOLgroup operates an EMAS-based environmental management system across the entire company. The Emsdetten site is validated according to the European environmental management system EMAS. POOLgroup has thus been practising documented environmental protection at a high level for many years.

Reduced gas consumption by more than 30%.
By retrofitting our heating systems in 2023 and switching to heat pumps in 2024, we reduced our natural gas consumption from 436,437 kWh (2022) to 296,266 kWh (2024) – a tangible step towards energy-efficient operation.

Generated almost 300,000 kWh of solar power
Our ever growing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems now have a capacity of 288 kWp. In the last two years, we have generated 294,393 kWh of electricity – straight from our roofs, straight into our business.

Saved more than 63 tons of CO₂ – taking the railway instead of the freeway.
The POOLcrew is taking to the rails: In 2024, we saved around 63,597 kg of CO2 by consistently using trains instead of cars – as a direct decision to avoid emissions.

Fewer trucks, the same sound – thanks to the PANTHER system.
We have significantly reduced the transport load per tour by investing in Meyer Sound’s compact and highly efficient PANTHER active loudspeaker system. Fewer loudspeakers, less weight – and therefore fewer trucks on the road. This saves on gas, reduces CO2 emissions, and makes touring more efficient and sustainable.
